When our Founder, Matt Runnalls first started out advocating for Mental Health & Suicide the first bit of advice he received was "Never get on a personal level with people that come to you, because you'll end up with collateral in this field of work". Matt described this as a grit the teeth moment and was determined to do the exact opposite.

The ability to connect with someone who needs you is the most important part to their wellness, only from connection can we really make the most beneficial impact possible. The human being is wired for love, belonging and connection. It is critical that we continue to work with people, in communities and build relationships that allow people to feel seen, heard and understood.

Mindfull Aus has never wavered from this and continuously works throughout the community to offer people support when struggling  and comfort when grieved by loss.  Through this, Mindfull Aus has partnered up with several organisations that help play their part in our overall whole of community approach to mental health, wellbeing and resilience.

When a connection exists, it creates an energy where they feel they are being seen, heard and valued. When they can speak up without judgement they find the strength it takes to keep moving forward. Love, belonging and connection are the elements to true well-being.
