Andy Finestone AOM
After working for over 30 years as a physio, Andy has spent the last 10 years immersing herself in the neuroscience behind communication, energy and mental health.
Her passion lies in supporting her clients to develop practical and sustainable strategies that reduce their sense of overwhelm, increase confidence and lead them to becoming the best version of themselves.
Andy’s clients have a greater appreciation of the chatter in their heads and by incorporating strategies to deal with their repetitive thought patterns, many have shared they feel calmer, more readily shift from a negative to a more positive outlook and experience more quality relationships.
As well as 1:1 coaching, Andy runs practical and engaging workshops, webinars and presentations which provide exceptionally effective takeaways. She brings her expertise and certification in both Conversational Intelligence® and Positive Intelligence® to support resilience, communication and improved relationships at home and in the workplace. Her experience has given her a deep understanding of how to bring people together and to stay motivated to achieve a shared goal.
Andy particularly resonates with clients who are:
Keen to learn how they can improve their communication skills and deepen relationships.
Ready to gain greater self-awareness and have a close look at the “I’m not good enough” story in order to become better managers and partners.
Eager to reduce the sense of overwhelm and learn strategies to cope when times get tough.
Excited to lead others by exemplifying healthy mental and physically balanced lifestyles.
Committed to taking small steps towards where they want to be.
Andy has a deep appreciation of the benefits of volunteering and building community. She was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) and was a Finalist in the 2019 Australian of the Year Awards for her volunteer work as co-founder and CEO of Bicycles for Humanity, Melbourne. She has been their CEO for over 10 years, donating in excess of 15,000 bicycles to various African countries, making a life changing impact on individuals and communities through increased mobility.
As an ultramarathon runner, Andy knows the power of good mental health and its impact on physical and emotional performance.
